From Beer to Eternity, A Library Fundrasier with CJMP’s Triple Dub, Courtney and Ioni at the helm

CJMP DJ’s DJ Triple Dub, Courtney, and Ioni are DJing this Library Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2 from 6PM-9PM @ Studio 56 (5813 Ash St. in Townsite) Buy your tickets ($65) at Breakwater Books, PR Library, Townsite Brewery.

Secret ingredients, crazy cocktails, bragging rights, uber music, tasty appies, and good books. Well, the books come later. They will be showing up at our new library thanks to the fundraising sponsorship of CAMRA Powell River, competing restaurants, and all the attending stars–That means YOU! Taste all the beer cocktails and compare notes with the celebrity judges as they brave the mysterious Black Box Beer Cocktail Challenge!

Tickets are $65 and available at:Breakwater Books and Fudge, Powell River Public Library, and Townsite Brewing.

Music by Community Radio CJMP 90.1FM  DJ’s Triple Dub, Courtney and Ioni!

All year long the Friends of the Library will be bringing you eclectic and cool opportunities to help buy THOUSANDS of new books by the time the library doors open. We should say not just books: anything informative, innovative and entertaining. Watch for our upcoming *Pump Up the Volumes* campaign for your chance to put a name in a book! Details throughout the year will be posted on the notice board by the Friends Book Cart or on our Facebook page.

The night may end, but your contribution will last forever!

Thank you for Supporting CJMP: Space Prom 2015

A HUMONGOUS thank you to CJMP staff, board members, volunteers, DJs, special crack team of Prom Event organizers and attendees for making this year’s specially-themed CJMP Space Prom the best we may have yet seen, at the Cranberry Seniors’ Centre or anywhere else.

Many of CJMP’s programmers attended (see above), you’ll find lots of pics on our Facebook page too.

LIVE DJs included Rock Thrustcrotch, Rabideye, Roger and Kamandi.

Zoe Ludski and Jason Addy were voted Prom Queen and King (below in a nail-biting moment)
