Celebrate Membership with CJMP Blackberry Band Stage!

Tomorrow! Friday August 15th is Powell River’s Blackberry Festival and CJMP is celebrating! Not only the amazing abundance of food, but the end of our first Membership Drive “The Sustain Campaign”
Join us outside the Bowling Alley for a place to hang out with your community media! Artist Meghan Hildebrand will host a craft table for mask making, there will be chalk drawing, a photo booth, face painting and live music!
CJMP’s stage hosted by Cousin Awd will feature local musicians in a range of styles! Larry Hanson (From Cambell River, Traditional Coast Salish songs and some rock’n roll covers.) Sonia Zagwyn, and Cam Twyford perform original old circus songs and Devon Hanley and Shawn Coburn perform soulful folk tunes on guitar and violin!
And if that wasn’t enough… Introducing the CJMPortal!
The CJMPortal is how you send your message to the universe. We’ll record your voice and air your message on the radio. Look for the Portal Sign and get your message ready! We’ll have all the equipment ready, we’re just waiting for your voice!
