Taking you down to the crossroads! Blues America broadcasts on local radio from Tucson to Sedona and coast to coast as a nationally syndicated listener supported program venerating The BLUES; a tradition of America’s modern roots music born from the African-American folklore.

Blues America is home to the Jerry Lawson Legacy Project, an exclusive feature which documents the amazing history of singing great, Jerry Lawson and the legendary Persuasionsin chronological order as explained in biographical commentary by Jerry himself. First recorded by Frank Zappa, the Persuasions are the most famous a’cappella singing group in the world.

Produced and hosted by that-guy behind the blues, award winning broadcaster, photographer and OEF Navy veteran, Drew Verbis. Drew is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a former manager for the late blues legend Louisiana Red. He was an assistant for Bob Corritore and the entertainment director for a blues hotspot, the world famous Rhythm Room concert club.
