Get Paid to Make Radio!

Open Call for Pitches –
As part of a Community Radio Fund of Canada grant, CJMP News is able to offer the chance for independent producers to pitch their ideas and turn them into radio features that will air on CJMP News on-air at 90.1FM and online at cjmp.ca

Pitches should include the story idea, who you would interview and your interest or experience in media production.

We value stories that reflect CJMP’s mission: As a non-profit alternative to mainstream media, we engage, educate, entertain, challenge, and provide community access to the airwaves.”

We will then work with you to develop your idea and produce your piece. Finished pieces will be paid $50 per minute of produced audio and stories should be between 4-6 minutes.

Please send a current resume along with your pitch to news@cjmp.ca

Deadline to send pitches is July 11, 2016

CJMP encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds.
No previous radio experience is necessary.
